Have you ever past a billboard and looked up in admiration at the skill that’s gone into creating the artwork on an advertisement? Have you ever wondered how graphic designers are able to create such amazing images in magazines and on posters at music festivals? Have you ever thought this is something I might like to do? Well, we have the perfect course for you!

Our Print Design & Publishing course teaches you how to use some of the most widely used software design packages in the field such as Photoshop CS5, Adobe Illustrator, and Expression. You’ll learn everything from image layering, lighting effects, and design principles. We’ll teach you how to create stylised lettering, 3D images, and show you how to manipulate images to incorporate them into your own creative designs. We’ll even teach you how to design weird looking creatures that you could use in print or game design.

Some of the work Print Designers do, include packaging design for DKNY, Dior, and BOSS; as well as billboard and magazine advertising for Coca Cola, Adidas, and Nike. Many Print Designers are commissioned to do work on upcoming movie promotions. This can be anything from designing the promotional movie posters you may see advertised on the side of a bus, to DVD covers, and any type of marketing promotions in a store or restaurant such as McDonalds.

The course also contains Solid Works – a CAD (Computer Aided Design) software program which is one of the most powerful design tools on the market. This software package is used by architects, automotive and aerospace engineers, and even city planners. With this package, you’re not just confined to creating pretty pictures. You can be designing the latest car or a new technological prototype.

This course is part of our total training series – designed as a rich learning experience which includes full video presentations, sound, and interactive tasks. You can pause a lesson, rewind, fast-forward and jump to another stage. The system will even record your progress and scores when taking a test. Best of all, because the course is online, you can do it anywhere in the world, anytime of the day as long as you have an internet connection. It’s the total training you’re looking for.
